MCU Office

This office area is for the MCU Detectives.

*I walk in with Farrell and let my hair down as I walk over to my desk. I grab the phone and a pen before calling central.*
Me: "Hey this is detective Davis, Major Crimes badge number 221. Did you get any calls about an erratic driving motorcycle?"
Central: "Two, one is a yellow Honda on 23 avenue, and the other is a black Harley on 182nd."
Me: "The black Harley, what other information do you have on that one?"
*I motion to Farrell as I wait for more information from central.*

*I walk in and go to my desk and take my holster and place it on the desk. I put the DVD of the gas station camera in the pc cd drive and I pull up the video on the NYPD intranet to enhance it. As I am doing it I see Davis waive her hand at me and point to the phone I look at her and pick up my phone and click line 1 and listen in*

*I mark down the plate number and thank central as I hang up and dial the DMV line. I look up at Farrell as I wait for someone to pick it up.*
'We have a plate number, and let's see if we can get an address from the DMV. What do you have?'

'Not much from the video of his appearance other than a black male about 6' 2" he's a big guy. He didn't even flinch when he shot the guy. Also I have a partial on the plate its Harry Alpha Lima, that is all I can make out. Why don't you just run the plate through the database, beats having to wait for them to answer it could be hours.'

'True, I guess that would work.'
*I hang up the phone and write down what Farrell has told me about the plate as I run it through and get a list of matches as well as the full plate number. I circle the one in question and then transfer the note from a post it on my desk to my notepad. I look up at Farrell as he looks at me.*
'Name is a Leroy Kirlo. It's registered to 6529 Concord. We going now, or are we gonna wait for an ESU REP truck?'

'We'll go and get patrol to tag along and bring him in for questioning we don't really have all the pieces yet.'

*I walk to the car and call over the radio*

"Portable 1 to 2 we have a possible suspect at 6529 concord. BREAK Portable 1 to central, can you get 2 patrol units to meet us at 6529 concord for a possible suspect in a armed robbery double shooting. When the units arrive tell them to stand by and to look for a black Harley."

*I look at Hailey while going to the car*

'Bike could've been stolen..'

'True, but if it isn't we're now looking at a armed and dangerous perp.'
*I close the computer and stand up. I grab my raid jacket and head out with Farrell.*
'All right, what's the plan?'

'We'll meet up with patrol and see if the motorcycle is there if it is we'll need to get a search warrant. If not we'll just knock on the door and find out what happened to the bike.'

'All right, then let's roll.'
*I throw my raid jacket into the back of the car and pull my hair back as we head out.*

* i walk in on my first day as the MCD* 'Hello sgt. i'm looking for Alex Davis, I'm his new partner.'

*I park the Fusion and walk inside. I head up to my desk and see the desk sergeant filling in some new guy.*

Me: 'Hey sarge, we got a new guy?'

Sgt.: 'Alex, this is Woods, he's your new partner.'

Me: 'Oh, well, welcome Woods. Thanks Sarge. All right Woods. I'm gonna see what kinda cases we can get before we head out. Oh yeah, and we're detectives, so you can change out if the monkey suit into plain clothes.'

*I sit down and look at the new, uncovered cases to get one we can take.*

*nods* 'Will do, Alex'
